My name is Jason and I am a sales consultant fo a Pontiac dealership in Exton Pa. I recently went on a ride and drive sponsered by GM for the all new G-8. This is a new breed for Pontiac. The best riding driving car ever. After running the slolom straight track and more I was sold. The car is most Awsome! With the best stability system yet we finally have a rear drive that is practical in bad weather. The 385 foot pounds of torqe launch you out of the gate even in slippery conditions. A variable ratio steering gear gives it responds to every driver input perfictly. One of the guys from GM summed it up perfectly (This car is Built in a market where it doesn't compete with Chrysler or Ford. It's built to smoke Beamers and Mercedes!) I can't wait for the GXP available in early 09'.

Glad to hear it. I'm a little disappointed that GM hasn't gotten behind this product with a little more agressive advertising campaighn. This is the best thing Pontiac has offered since the Trans-am platform. Maybee there waitng for the economy to strenthen. The buzz has to start somewere! Once these cars start to hit the street in numbers they will decimate all compitition.

I work for gm so my car buying choices are limited.
U.A.W. all the way but I love cars and for the first time I can buy a car
that is in the same class as a BMW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear from a real live U.A.W. guy. First, Thanks for bailing my ass out. I don't know if you will be able to find a dealer that will sell you a G-8 at employee price. Unless u slide somthing on the side as an incentive. We sold our first 2 G-8's at $3,000.00 over Sticker. Don't worry, that will wear off as soon as we get some on the ground. As far as I know we are only getting 6 for 08'. The good news is The 09's will be here in a few months. We will still only get about 30,000 for 09' model year in the states.

Have you gotten wind of a release date for the 09's yet
The one info iv seen was back 6 months ago and it was to the affect of not shipping the 09s till fall winter due to the late release of the 08 but things could have changed since then.

On the other note:
Iv got a dealer ship down the road that has a Black G8 fully loaded
except the sport pak. I test drove it last week, the offered me gms discount off of MSRP price, so Im not to worried



Further More we meed to get this form fired up people pontiac underground

Rumer has it the 09's will start hitting the ground in about 2 months. The 08's are already almost gone. If a dealer offered you GMS jump on it before Supply runs out. When they can't get anymore the price will go up and you'll have no choice but to wait.

since buying my G8 in august/08,my wifes had the pleasure of tooling around town.when i got in and took (bumble bee.my kids named our GT/G8)to the wheel,after being in my 80,000lbs beast/it was great to strech my legs a-bit bringing her up to tripple digits.this is truly my shared family hotrod..unlike my 70 barracuda..its a civilized monster in disguise..watch for me in the rear view whenever in new england..
